The Way to the Spring is profoundly sad and also infuriating reading. Ehrenreich's is a powerful, deeply informed and deeply committed perspective that deserves and should receive a lot of attention. While I knew quite a bit about the occupation beforehand, his book provides both overall context and a horde of telling details. I won't soon forget the Palestinian boy who shared an IDF soldier's packet of chips in the morning, and found the same soldier training a gun on him in his bedroom at night. The child wet himself in terror. Or the grim details of Palestinians simply trying to go about their daily lives despite a horde of physical and legal impediments, and the constant threat of settler violence. I defy anyone to read this book and not conclude that this situation must not continue.

This book compares well with Miko Peled's "The General's Son"--both are captivating illustrations of Israel's occupation of Palestine and the apartheid system Israel inflicts. People I know in the West Bank say both writers convey their reality masterfully.
Ben Ehrenreich writes of his experiences in Palestine with a deft touch, invoking the futility of the struggle while maintaining a journalist's unbiased reporting. Although he befriends and lives among the people in a small Palestinian town, he avoids dramatization or partiality. It's the reader who can't maintain detachment for long as the villagers are constantly losing land to Israeli settlers or being harassed and killed by Israeli soldiers. It seems to be a hopeless situation, but Ehrenreich also shows us the joy and hope still alive in the peoples' hearts. I, for one, could never imagine my town being relentlessly invaded by a military force. This book gives us a birds-eye look at how that feels.
It is only right that we hear from the occupied, as this book so ably achieves. If it is uncomfortable for supporters of the occupiers to hear, so much the better. Any American, any modern citizen of the world, who believes in the inalienable rights of all humanity, cannot but question who we support and why after reading this book.
A wonderful but at times unbearably painful read. Why did it take this book to learn that beatings of suspects are commonplace, civilians are shot at close range, soldiers routinely falsfify evidence and lie, and the Palestinian Authority is complicit in the oppression of West Bank residents? Ehrenreich goes where few writers have gone, and I am all the richer for it. If any book can change minds in Washington, this book can.
A fair, honest, and a firsthand account of the plight of Palestinians. Excellent descriptive writing and factual stories from an eyewitness on the ground.

Worked through The Princeton Review Algebra 1, Geometry & Algebra 2 Unlocked studiously. I got a great basis for all, but each book does not go too in depth. I used online resources like IXL while self-tutoring, but this was a great foundation.Overall, very impressed with this book.P.SGreat for the SAT & ACT alone! SAT & ACT like questions are in each chapter and concept.
Only 1 star because it didn't meet my needs, and not necessarily because it's a bad book. I needed a workbook for my daughter to use over the late summer so that she can review what she learned the prior year in Algebra II. She didn't do a great job in Algebra II, so I knew she would need a refresher before going into Pre-Calc. I ordered three books on Amazon, and this books seemed more like home-school/learn the material book rather than summer review workbooks.
I honestly didn't think I would pass my Algebra 2 EOC, but this book gave me a 3 on the exam and without it, I would have 100% failed. Has amazing explanations, but you need to have consistency with the book if you want to understand. Really simple explanations and lots of examples of the lesson to understand it in many ways.
It was not what I was looking for.

I thought this princeton was going to be similar to the format of their history books. IT IS NOT! The lessons are very brief and skeletal. It will give you the meaning or definition of something and that's it. On from there, it's just examples, but no lesson. It doesn't work for me.

I bought this used. Came in decent quality for the price. Very informative and easy to follow instructions for making repairs.
Almost too thorough, sometimes I find myself going back and fourth between steps since the book tries to combine the steps for different model engines in one page (e.g. step 4a for the 4 cylinder, and see step 4b for the 6 cylinder.
I brought the manual as used because I wanted to look up the specifications when I replaced a new water pump, timing belt, oil cover gaskets, firing order, pan gasket and valve cover gaskets. It does helps me a lot to prevent crack the metal covering on the engine block. Thank you!
good book
It is not the same book in the picture. Also, it is used and i ordered new. Also it is in BAD shape including engine oil stains. VERY unhappy.
When a person does all his own car repairs it is a good idea to get the book for that car and year. I'd recommend this book to anyone who needs it.
